सत्यमेव जयते
"In the end, truth alone succeeds."

Amrita - Vachan

“You don’t have to do complicated yagnas, tough rituals to attain God. Just keep chanting Sri Hari’s name and develop everlasting devotion towards him. This gives you the attitude to see God in everyone and everything.

- Prahlaada Maharaj

Bhakta Prahlaada

Prahalda is the son of an atheistic daitya king, Hiranyakashipu. He acquired the devotion towards Sri Vishnu right from his childhood. Sage Naarada rescued prahlaadaa’s mother, Leelaavati when she was pregnant, while Hiranyakashipu went away for tapas. In the ashram, Sage Naarada used to teach her all about bhakti, the devotion towards Sri Vishnu. Prahlaada learnt this while he was growing in the womb.

He strongly believed that Sri Vishnu was present everywhere and knew everything that was going on. At school he excelled in all the lessons, he was taught. At the same time, he used to explain what Bhakti was to his peers; he taught them that God could be reached just by chanting his name. Once, to prove to his father that God was everywhere, prahalada showed his devotion to call Sri Vishnu in Nara-simha avatara (half man-half lion). The story of prahlaada and Hiranyakashipu is presented in the 7th canto of Srimad Bhaagavatam, one of the famous works of Maharshi Vyasa.
