Hindu Sangathan divas
Hindu sangathan divas is observed on the day of coronation of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Shivaji Maharaj fought against Mughal kings and won over all India under Hindu Kingdom. After several centuries, Shivaji Maharaj was coronated according to the Vedic traditions of coronating a King.

This day is also when Kaun Banega Ramayan Expert concludes.

Lava and Kusha

Lava and Kusha (twins) are the sons of Sri Rama. They were born and brought up in the ashram of Maharshi Valmiki, who also was their guru. They studied Ramayanam, the story of Life of Sri Rama and his ancestors, from Maharshi Valmiki. Upon his instructions, they popularised it all over the country by singing it community centers where people would come together. Sri Rama himself heard Ramayanam first from Lava and Kusha.

When Rama performed the Ashwamedha Yagnya to establish his supreme power, the yagnya horse went to Maharshi Valmiki’s Ashram. The two boys captured the horse, and would not return it to Lakshmana. Lava, Kusha, fought Rama’s army had a tough battle. They proved their might while fighting with Sri Rama himself. The battle ended when Mother Sita told everyone that Lava and Kush were Sri Rama’s sons. Lava and Kusha grew up to rule the Ramarajya.
